2 Days! Help EVERYONE 2 Remember!!!!

WEEKLY UPDATE
This is the THE WEEK!!!!  It's your chance to see all your hard work come to fruition!
We saw some GREAT progress in registration in the last week, and we're so close to our goal. If 600 more people register before tomorrow night, we'll hit our goal!!!  Won't that be awesome?  And if anyone can make it happen, it's Team Sacramento! In all you're doing this week to round out your SUMMER, please help women gather groups and register!

Pre-reg & group prices will be open until midnight August 8th!

~Have you followed up with everyone you emailed?

~Have you posted a reminder about pre-registration ending on yourFacebook page?

~Have you CALLED women about joining a group? Sometimes a call is all it takes!

~Have you scheduled a REGISTRATION PaRTy to help bring groups together to register? If so, don't wait until the last minute, do it SOON!

NOTE:  SCHOLARSHIPS ARE NOW CLOSED. If our event does not sell out by Thursday, we will open scholarship again.

WEEKLY FOCUS

As of today we have 1087 registered,  26 women on scholarship and then add 50 mighty team members and that fills over 1150 SEATS at our event! We are half way to our registration goal!  We have just about 1100 registrations to go to meet our GOAL! 
We can DO IT!

So, let s share the GOOD and ask ourselves...
WHO WILL FILL THESE SEATS?
WHO NEEDS TO BE UPLIFTED?
WHO NEEDS A TIME OUT?
WHO NEEDS TO "SEEK some GOOD in her life?"
WHO can YOU INVITE TODAY to join you for the SEEK THE GOOD 10th Anniversary TOFW Tour?

Hopefully this little series of questions has brought at lease ONE woman to mind that you know could use a TIME OUT. So go on. Invite her. Offer her a scholarship. She will thank  you, I promise. And YOU with thank YOURSELF for doing some good. INVITE THE ONE! We can't wait to meet her!

Gather GROUPS! 15 Days left to SAVE!

15 Days left for Pre-Registration!

Registration: We are at 40% to our registration goal, but we should see it fly in the next few weeks!  Your excitement about TOFW Sacramento is contagious and everyone is going to catch on!  
Blog Comments: Only 5 blog comments last week???  I know summer is crazy busy, but this is when we REALLY need our team connected.  PLEASE help your team mates remember to check the blog and COMMENT so we know everyone is getting information to share as pre-registration ends!
Checking in:Captains will be checking in with you to get a report on how you feel the word is spreading in your area.  Be expecting a phone call from your team captain in the next week and be prepared to give her a report.  If you really want to make her day, you can CALL HER!  Everything you report to them will be reported back to me, so please make an effort to give a good report so we at the TOFW office have a really good feel of the TOFW pulse in Sacramento!

WEEKLY FOCUS
GATHER YOUR GROUPS!

Our group DISCOUNTED pricing is only available through August 8th, so make sure EVERYONE knows that the best time to register is NOW! We would like each team member to try to find at least 7 women to take the lead in registering a group. That will be 28 women (at least) per team member, which means that together we will be able to find another 1400 women and beat our GOAL!


Here's some ideas of how to gather a group:
1) Have a registration party!  Invite everyone over for some treats and then register together at the party so you can all get the group discount and gather money at once. But don't wait too long...in case of early sell out!  A "virtual" party works too.
2) Do a shout out on Facebook to see if anyone out there needs a group to register with.
3) Dress in a tiara and evening gown (modest of course) and stand on the corner with a "TOFW or Bust" sign.  
4) OK, so 3 wasn't very realistic, but use your creative mind and determined excitement for TOFW and get those groups to register before prices go up!

An e-mail from TOFW: A few posts ago I mentioned that we sent an email to all of our Deseret Book customers in the area reminding them that Time Out for Women pre-registration is in full swing!  Please share the email with everyone just in case they didn't get it from us.  And make sure they know the deadline is FAST APPROACHING!

Have you had fun sharing your brochures? Do you still have some left? We mailed over 8,000 brochures to all of our customers in your area this week, and so it's time to follow-up and make sure everyone knows they can come to YOU for questions or to get in a group.

Giving Back at TOFW - Service Project and Scholarships

Giving Back, TOFW- Style
#1 GOOD MEAL PROJECT~ Our 2012 Service Project is called THE GOOD MEAL PROJECT.  We will be creating bagged meals at the event that will be donated to the Food Bank in each city that is part of the 2012 Tour.  The process will be much like our Possibility Packs and Hope Kits from prior years.

 ~Attendees will be asked to bring the following items as donations when they come to the event (letter corresponding to the first letter in their last name):

A - F Chili (TWO - 15 oz. cans)
G – K Biscuit Mix ( TWO 8 oz. "just add water" mixes)
L - R Green beans (TWO - 14.5 oz. cans)
S - Z Teddy Grahams (ONE 10 oz. box)

~Team members will collect and sort donations Friday evening and Saturday morning
~During lunch on Saturday we will have 2 assembly shifts where attendees can assemble meals into bags that will be donated to the food bank.

I've attached a PDF information sheet about the project to your email today so you can share it with everyone you know coming!  

#2 SCHOLARSHIP~ Our Scholarship program is ONLY RUN THROUGH THE TEAM and so you are the only ones out there to tell the women about it. For a reminder of what the scholarship program is click here. Please take note at the right the scholarship coordinator's contact information and scholarship submission deadline.  
    
IDEAS FOR SHARING Scholarship:
      
1. Send an email to all your friends and family and ask them if they know of anyone that wants to go, but cannot afford it. You might say something like this: “Have you talked to someone who would love to go to TOFW, but can’t afford the full-price? As a team member, I have the opportunity to offer a few women scholarship registrations. Please send anyone you know that is in this situation to me and I will help to get them registered. We don’t want ANYONE to miss this!”
      
2. Ward leaders: Although we do not advertise this event to the members of your ward through church channels, you might want to contact your ward Relief Society President and let her know that you are a team member and have access to the “scholarship program.” Tell her that if she becomes aware of a woman who is in this situation, to have them contact you and you will take care of them. The woman needs to come to you personally, rather than having the leader submit their name to you, just so we can make sure she is fully aware of how the program works and is committed to it. We also want to make sure that she never confuses this with being something the Church donated for her. PLEASE UNDERSTAND that we do not want any church leader to be in a position where they feel like they are informing a woman about TOFW. And please do not contact leaders outside your natural friendship circles.
